Welcome to the City Museum
of Mölndal! We are located in the cultural heritage area of Kvarnbyn in Mölndal, Sweden. Our museum holds collections of local history, heritage and crafts. The hands-on open storage with everyday objects from early 20th century evoke personal memories, even feelings of nostalgia. A permanent furniture display, from the beginning of the 18th Century until mid-20th Century, shows a unique craft collection from the local area of Lindome. Temporary exhibitions, thematically weave history, the present and the future together, attracting and engaging thousands of visitors each year. And there's a very nice museum shop and café, offering traditional Swedish cakes and biscuits! |
